Help! Who makes these Balljoints?
I purchased this truck (1992 f250 4x4, dana 50ttb) used and I replaced the springs with f350 springs last week and it now has far to much camber. I brought it to ford and they want over $300 for and alignment because they have to source the parts for the balljoints. Can I use factory camber shims with aftermarket ball joints or do they have to be the same brand? And what about the spacers on top of the ball joint they are white metal and need to be replace as well? I already broke one trying to get it apart!! Or should I put factory gear back in? The balljoints have a wedged spacer under the crown nut and a spacer below that with small holes all around about 20 of them. Im trying to figure out how to put a picture in so when I do I'll post it! Thanks for any advice!
