upper balljoint worn out again??

upper balljoint worn out again??
HI
at about 160k I noticed that the driverside upperball joint was worn out and had alot of play on it , so i replaced the uppercontrol arm including balljoint(can't just replace the stock balljoint
)
i bought an aftermarket one with greasenipple
now about 2 years and 50k later ,whenever i drive through a bumpy field ,it sounds like something is lose and rattling right by that frontwheel ,so i took off the wheel and checked the balljoint but it still seems tight
,
allthough i put in too much grease and that cracked the rubberboot
,just leave it or should i replace the balljoint because of that rubberboot that is ripped open?

i have not been able to find them ,looked everywhere i thought
i got the control arm at NAPA ,so i bought a new balljoint cause i thought it was worn,but now i'm starting to have my doubts about that

Im talking about 160000 km eh! Not miles , kind of too bad you didn't say how much you want to bet on it lol , cause it turned out to be the lower balljoint

That sounds about right. Did you ever replace the upper joint because of the cracked boot?
