its been ahwile since ive been on here. but i am back. i went through boot camp for the navy, and now im going through schooling. my dad is going to be putting my truck together through the years that i am gone. he said he is going to put it together and then all ill have to do is pick the paint color and where i want to get it done at. ill keep the progress posted when he tells me what he does. does anyone have, of know, where i can get a book on how to put the engine back together?? my old man wants one and he is having some problems locating one. so if anyone can help us it would greatly appreciated. thanks everyone, swanie
Josh, there are a lot of places where you can get such books, including the automotive section of your local Barnes and Nobles, Booksamillion, etc.. But straight from the horses mouth, so to speak, Fordracingparts.com. Good luck. And thank you for your military service.
fire control is still at great lakes. i am down in pensacola, florida to be an AT. avation electronics technician. i did go to great lakes for boot camp. they are tearing down all the old ships and rebuilding them. the new ones get air conditioning and alot of extras. it was fun. prolly nothing like it used to be. everyone said ti was a joke, because it was so easy. i do have to agreew ith them on alot of the stuff. my old man is going to build it so he can "spend" time with me. there are acouple more reasons, but i think that is really his main one. something to make it feel like i am around him. i told him about this site many ties but he hasnt got on here to make up a name. maybe if i tell him again he will listen this time and do it. just maybe. but its no problem making sure all of you guys are safe. its my honor. i know you guys will take care of me with any problems i have with my truck. so just think about it as a give-give situation.
