Heater Install
I'm going to install the heater this weekend; with the 5.0L I installed, there seems to be litle to no room for the plumbing to come throught the firewall. Has anyone else encountered this problem ? The heater hoses from the Crowne Vic are too long and don't enter at the same location on the firewall.

Tom,
You may well have to patch the original holes and put new ones in the firewall for your heater. I don't know what kind of heater you are using but I used an aftermarket box heater and since I wanted the battery on the passenger side firewall I closed off the original holes and made new ones under the battery box. It worked out okay.

thanks for the input, never thought of doing that. I still have the original heater, and would have to mount it at a different location, but worth looking into.
