Fuel

Guys, I know we've been through this before but dang is it frustrating. Gas in western MI is now down to $2.37 this morning and diesel fuel is still stuck at $2.99. We pulled the boat up north last weekend with the wifes van instead of the truck just because of the difference. Sucks to pull up to the boat launch in a van.... I don't want to have to park the truck but....
Is this difference a nationwide thing or just here in MI?

Nope, it is everywhere....down here in Texas is the same thing....gas is 2.49 and diesel is 2.75

Reasoning is that the inventories in gasoline are way up and now there is just too much and demand is lower....diesel on the other hand, even though cheaper to make, is still in high demand. Should hopefully see a drop though in the next few weeks.

Diesel just dropped DOWN to $3.10 yesterday here in Colorado. Still more than 30 cents higher than gas. It did go as high as $3.39 a few weeks ago.

It really sucks here-gas $2.97 and diesel $3.48. I don't have any choice because my diesel super duty is my daily driver, but it sure limits any extra driving on the weekends.

.30 difference here too. But $2.65 was a lot easier to swallow than it has been of late.

pbr man, maybe I shouldn't complain if you're paying $3.48! Ouch!

With winter not that far off and diesel competing with home heating oil, the price will only go up.
