You have a Schrader valve on the fuel rail, with the key on, the fuel pump should buzz for about 10 seconds and if you depress the needle in the valve gas should shoot up ( I use a rag ) When you installed the TFI did you disconnect the battery ?? This will reset your computer and is a good idea for all such work on the electrics. I use the cheapo thermal paste ( you can get at Radio Shack ) that is used on computer chips instead of the Dielectric grease. The theory is that heat will be tranferred to the distributors' body and away from the TFI module. Here in the desert it's really important and this method seems to work very well.
