I am looking for one or two 16" split rim wheels (6 lugs) for my 1961 F-350. Can you help?

Thom, Please for your own safety, look for a set 16" uni or non split wheels. They have been outlawed, banned, etc. and most truck tire places will not touch them.

Stockman knowes about them and if you just gotta keep them, make sure they are made as safe as they can be.

Many lost digits and limbs, and deaths have been caused by those darn things.

Keep safe.

John:

The problem for these years is that, to the best of my knowledge, there was no non-split rim offered as a six lugger. Others can explain in more depth. Member Charles, are you here?

Yep, I'm here... my search for such a rim (six lug non-split) was completely unsuccessful. Stockton Wheel can't make duallies either (they say they do not have a sufficiently strong center). Too bad, I think they could sell quite a few. Seven to me, anyway!

But if you have a single rear wheel model, they make very nice and extremely heavy duty rims in any pattern you like, including 6 x 7.25" (ask for the Dodge Power Wagon rim).

I would look very carefully at any split rims and make sure that the center section is not rusted out at the rivets, or bulging between rivets due to rusting of the stamped center. Every used one I was able to locate had one or the other problem and I would not put them on my truck.
Ivanhoe, are yours in good shape considering all the salt on the Maine roads?
