COIL spring ford part number??? for plow package?
#46
The guy (parts guy at a Ford dealership on here) that sold me the HD springs that didn't work would not let me return them to get my money back. Be very careful who you buy anything from on here. He even charged me a enormous shipping fee only to find out that the dealership would have shipped them to me free if I would have bought them direct from the dealer instead of going through the guy on here. Would anyone be interested in buying a set of HD front springs for a 2004-2008 F150?

I know this is an old thread, but did it turn out that the part number 8L3Z-5310-Z is not a replacement for the old part number of 4L3Z-5310-ZA or ZB? According to my research, most of the websites that list coil springs for the F150 show the 4L3Z series discontinued to be replaced by the 8L3Z series. The exception seems to be for the 4L3Z-5310 ZA or ZB coil which shows discontinued completely with no replacement. I went into a Ford dealer today with all my printouts of my 07 F150 and like others, he said he needed a VIN. But, he also said Ford will not reveal which coil part numbers match up to which coil rating in the spring specifications for our F150's. He said Ford doesn't reveal this information to anybody, hence the demand for a VIN to match it up. I may take him the VIN that was posted for an HD F150 and see what he comes back with.
My 07 Screw lists on the Etis website as needing a 4L3Z-5310-UA. The HD F150 shows needing a 4L3Z-5310-ZB from that VIN. One would think this would be a simple swap....
