help deciphering ETIS report
The first ETIS item that does not make sense to me is "With Base Payload Package", is this related to the camper package?
"Less Tractor/Trailer Equip PKG", what is that?
" Less Stabilizer Package
Less Attitude/Ride Height Pack
With Standard Duty Front Suspension
With Front Stabilizer Bar
Single Leaf Rear Auxiliary Spring
With Rear Stablizer Bar
Less Rear Axle Package
4.30", again is this a camper package thing?
" Less Electronic Speed Limitation
...
With Speed Control", I have no idea what that is? Cruise control?
" Less Tyre Inflation Monitor", was that part of a higher trim package?
Speed control is cruise control. Tire pressure monitoring is not available on any F450.
i was just going to post the same question.
Are you going to try and track your truck enroute to the dealership? I don't know how to do that but I would like to know when mine gets to the dealership.
2BSDowner, only if there was convenient method and there does not appear to be one. I am in Ohio, so the truck will almost certainly arrive on some sort of trailer, neither do I have a pressing need for the pickup so I don't care when it arrives. Too bad they don't have the option of us going to the plant to drive the trucks home ourselves. On the thread "We waited too long to order..." I asked "bill148, one of your previous posts said your's shows in COTUS and thats how you know the expected delivery date?" and bill148 replied "Yes, COTUS says 24 April and also Cyberman at Blue Oval. He says it is in Illinois on a Burlington train." So I think he may be communicating with someone at Ford to get those details. If you look in the member list of this forum there are a few accounts of Ford personnel. Actually isn't this a Ford supported forum? Anyways, COTUS does not have a record for me, but back when the dealership salesman relayed me the VIN he also gave me a week date range, which is probably when it will arrive at the dealership.
The first ETIS item that does not make sense to me is "With Base Payload Package", is this related to the camper package? My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS. I have the plow pack but not the camper pack.
"Less Tractor/Trailer Equip PKG", what is that? My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS. Probably some cab and chassis Super Duty trucks can be set up for use as a tractor...like an F-650/F-750 so the option remains in the ETIS system.
" Less Stabilizer Package My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS.
Less Attitude/Ride Height Pack My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS.
With Standard Duty Front Suspension My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS.
With Front Stabilizer Bar My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS. This is your front sway bar; all Super Duty pickups have this.
Single Leaf Rear Auxiliary Spring My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS. This is your overload leaf; all 350/450 pickups and some 250 pickups have this feature.
With Rear Stablizer Bar My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS. This is your rear sway bar and is standard on DRW trucks and optional on trucks with the camper packages.
Less Rear Axle Package My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS.
4.30", again is this a camper package thing? 4.30 is your truck's axle ratio. F-450 pickups can only come with a 4.30 axle ratio.
" Less Electronic Speed Limitation My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS. Probably means a low speed limit like 65mph, because all these trucks are indeed electronically governed anyway.
...
With Speed Control", I have no idea what that is? Cruise control? My F-350 dually also states this on ETIS. It is indeed cruise control. Some XL trucks can come without cruise.
" Less Tyre Inflation Monitor", was that part of a higher trim package? No F-450 has TPMS.
Less Electronic Speed Limitation
This likely means that neither of the speed limitation options available on XL- and XLT fleet orders was installed on your truck. Option Code 926 is a 65 mph limiter, and Option Code 927 is a 75 mph limiter.

That would be my assumption: Less speeding = less liability. I wouldn't be surprised if there were to be an insurance incentive somewhere in the mix.
