Transfer Box ?
Hi. We have a 1962 ford 3/4 ton 4X4 pickup.We put a 429 out of a 69 t-brid with a C6 tranny.We used the transfer box that come in the truck.Is there a difference in the gear ratio in transfer boxes?Been told yes and no.The # on the box is 33f704 And 300205---5.Don't know if them #s help but that is all we could find.My DAD is 67 and mud races this truck.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They used that transfer case from 59-63 on the F-100-250 trucks. In 64 they made some changes in it( serial #410,001 and on) and numbered it a 300205-6 THat case continued on until 1968 on the 250/350's. The F-100's used it until 1966. It's a Dana Spicer .
