Starting problem

I have had this problem for as long as I have had my 94 F-150 5.8. Sometimes I will turn the key, the truck will start and vroom then it dies. It always starts the second time though. What could the problem be?

Check out the post ronr52. I just started posting today and I have the exact same problem. Got some good advice and now mine is running(don't know how long that will last) but maybe it will help you out.
