Other suggestion for the MPG poll is what type of terrain do you drive daily. From here to Town and back is 655 miles. Of which I 600 miles is mountian driving. Not too many flats here.
Oh yea, 17.5 without a trailer behind utilizing Summer Fuel #2. Drop 2 or 3 with the winter blend and studded tires. Towing MPG depends on which trailer.

80% towing a 7,800# 30 foot Sunnybrook TT with the bed of the truck loaded with camping/travel stuff. Estimated 16,000# total weight. A lot of mountain travel & 13,000 miles to AK in 2004.
Overall average 13.05 for 2455.13 Gallons of fuel.
Best 18.81 on a slow trip through CO mountains.
Worst 8.24 Towing TT into a hard head wind going west into the Columbia River Gorge.
Wind so strong that trans kept shifting into 4th gear at 60 - 65 MPH even though this is a slight down grade for miles.

Although I am not extremely happy with my mileage, it has been a consistant 14/15 MPG mixed driving. If I could only keep my foot out of it
, I'm sure it would be better.
