Door locks

:-X11 I recently cleaned out an obstruction in my drivers side door lock. Now that I can lock the door, I wanted to know if I could lock it with out the key? Some vehicles I've owned you could hold in the button after locking the door and close it. My 64 doesn't seem to work this way.

Nope. Not on a '66 either. As you get a little older you will see what a blessing this feature is.

Door locks

Only if you leave the window open, reach in and pull the handle! You will never lock your keys in. at least!

Thanks for the info. I just wasn't sure. I have been using the key and it was real hard to lock. I put some graphite powder in the lock and sprayed lithium grease onto the linkage assy in the door and now it works great.
