YEE HAW!! Well I got it together enough to go for a first shake down ride to the corner and back. It is definitely a better ride than with the solid axle and power steering is so nice. Some things I need to change or fix are just minor stuff. The only real problem is the front brakes lock even under light braking. I got a proportioning valve from a mid 80s pickup today and will give that a try. I geuss the fairmont that donated the master and valve I installed is a little more front biased than I need. If that don't work I guess I'll be buying an adjustable one.
Rich, You may have to get used to the touchy brakes. Mine will put your nose on the glass if I am not careful.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
You might wish to toss the stock type valves and get the houses brand valve from summit. Cost $65 and the last one i got said willwood on the side and the sumit sticker the the **** feel off and the willwood one was there. There nice cause you can turn the **** and set it for your truck.
Haveing brakes is nice. I need to do them on my 65, but disks cost to much right now.
