So you can't get assistance and you're not making very much. At least you are being productive. Just goes to show that the people who ARE getting assistance in general (not all of them) are exactly the ones who don't deserve it. I've got a friend (married, one kid)who gets food stamps and believe you me, if he could just quit wasting what money he does have on some things he doesn't need he wouldn't need them. Sometimes we need to just make people face some choices and if they screw up, someone else doesn't need to steal from my wallet to clean up the mess. I help people out when I see they need it, but I see way too many people spend money on things they don't need and then leave bills unpaid. Too bad, not my problem. I pay my bills first, have fun second.
