75 dash pinout

got a wiring harness for my 75...trying to hook up the dash, installation manual has a 18 pin connection, mine has 14

anyone have a pinout of a 14 pin connector for the dash?
( temp gauge, fuel gauge, oil light, charge light )

14 Pin is for Idiot lights

18 Pin is for Gauges

They fit with no problem in their respective cluster type.

Easiest thing to do would be to go get a cluster with gauges from the wreckers and install it.
Try an 80's E series van.

I'm confused about this.

So after you have identified which is which .......what happens then ?

Do you plan on altering the wiring circuits ..like trying to place Idiot light wires in a gauge connector ?

Blue/red stripe is for cluster and dash lighting.

Ah... see now it makes sense

Who's aftermarket harness are you using ?

I'll see what I can do.

The wire being colour coded helps a lot.

I assume you don't have a Haynes manual.

You should be abe to get the info you need from the autozone site.

Wiring dagram for 76 Truck.
