Hello, Could anyone help me out with this VIN.# I Really need to know is the ingine. I just bought it and tagged it and it is a Diesel and originally so. But the DMV put it on the registration as a gas engine and that will mess me up with the Vehical inspection.

The Engine code #1 is not found in my decoder book. Perhaps someone else may help with it's decode?

The Check digit doesn't really mean much at all.

the six records on mine were previous recalls, and four were from the two accidents that happened to the truck in the past.

A very comprehensive site, if you are willing to pay for it.

They however do not report on if the truck is fixed or not.
