I am a new user (since June), and I am wondering how many of you in this forum actually visit other forums on this site.
It seems that I find all the answers I need in this forum when I do a search, even when it is a question about 4x4, performance, dress up, etc. The only other forum that has been really helpful is the paint & body forum. Do all the 73 - 79 owners just hang out here all the time?
Sometimes it seems like we all hang out here. I myself look over other forums that have 79 and older topics. There are a few I don't really visit that much like paint and stuff cause I never really plan to paint my truck unless I have to buy replacement parts of a different color.
Welcome Slag, I go to all of them, I have one of each it seems, a 66 250, 77 150 4x, 99 250 4x diesel, 02 Ex 4x diesel, and have had some of the others so I bounce and read them all and give my input or advice where I feel I might know something, or have dealt with it. I am in the process of fixing up my 77 150 4x, having done my 66 a few years ago, I wish I would have known this was available, but I did learn alot just winging it!
I usually hang out in here. I do check out some of the other forums like Paint & Bodywork, Aftermarket and Interior & Dress Up just to see if there is anything in there related to our older trucks. I also check out the Texas Chapter forum on occasion but apparently Texas, the land of giant pickups, is inhabited by people who don't care to post in that forum :P
general auto discussion,non auto discussion,club fte,exhaust,carb/fuel injection,garage and shop,4x4 and offroad,351w/302 engine forum,engine swap forum,ford versus the competition,oil and lubrication...and I think that is all on a regular basis!!
I look at engine (302), Trans, suspension, paint and local chapter at least once per day. Sometimes you see something there and say - yeah, I have that prob too.
Welcome slag!
I mostly travel between General Non-automotive, Members only, California Chapter, Nevada Chapter, 385 series engines, Power Stroke Diesel 6.0 and here on the 73-79 forums. I have both a 74 Highboy and an 05 Super Duty so I have both older Ford and Newer Ford Truck interests.
Enjoy the site. Great bunch of folks who are mostly very willing to help out with any of your Ford Truck questions and issues. I have gained so much here at FTE that I eventually became a supporting member. The dues are much lower than the huge amount of help and info I have received here.
I see that you have already become a supporter yourself. Congrats!
Enjoy,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am currenty working on a 76 F250 4x4 and I have learned so much. Because of this forum i now know how to ID a TC, how to replace weather seal, what kinds of rust products there are and what other truck owners have experienced with spray bedliners. This place is just overflowing with information. I never realized there were so many Ford truck owners willing to share their experiences. I look at the forums everyday, mostly this one and paint as I hope to be painting soon.
Diggin' this site!
