I did move forward and install a Lokar 23" adjustable floor shifter since replacing the vacuum modulator. Everything above the tranny went fine until I got ready to connect the shifter to the tranny linkage. Did take the pan off and replaced the filter and expected to change the tranny shift lever with the one from Lokar. I could barely see it behind way to much stuff for me to try and remove and replace. Took a piece of 1/8" flat stock and made a new bracket to connect the two and she works like a charm. If you are an FMX tranny owner and want to add a LOKAR floor shifter just have to be a little creative. Will upload some pics soon...

I did the sme thing on my 53 with the Lokar shifter and the FMX it was really easy and looks bad ***. I am supprised in the strength of the FMX I have a 425hp 351W and it handles it well but i thik the drag pack shift kit helps. I think i have the highest stall here 4300rpm stall, it is a blast, It makes racing imports more fun.
