Edge EZ module?

I have a 2006 F250 PSD Auto with air intake and 4 inch turbo back no cat exhaust. I have been looking for some time and now I got the truck breathing better I'm looking at the Edge modules and I about to make a decision. Before I do I would like some input on them. Like I was thinking of the ez module with 3 in cab adjustments. I'm told that the modules don't let any thing behind in the trucks computer or ecm once removed. I don't do any extreme things with my truck that would break something but I don't want to have a problem with my truck and the dealer say the module did it and we wont warranty the problem. Thanks in advance!

There have been several threads on chips and such in FTE. Try doing a search and see if you can find anything on what your looking for. Now as for what i've seen and read in here........ The 2006's do have the ability to tell the tech's when a chip has been installed and removed. with that... even if you just use the chip for the econo-mode its not a good idea unless your going to do other mods with the chip. Most people dont realize that just adding the chip is like "snorting crack" for your truck... it may not kill you right away.. but it will speed up the process in a hurry....... Like i said.. do a search and see what you can find... there is plenty of info on this topic out there... Good Luck

PA 6.0 STROKER,

The EZ module is a great HP box, mild but very effective without the high HP levels etc. As far as Ford being able to see it they won't be able to as it's post computer, what they will see is a higher than normal boost and fuel pressure levels in the PCM. Now the PCM is able to record these levels because a stock truck can also see/produce this in some conditions and they need to be able to see what is happening etc. So if you add this and remove it prior to service and they ask you can tell them what you want but it's the most un seeable type of module out there.

We sell lots of them to the RV and mild performance owners that just want to add a little "ZIP" into their truck's day to day operation.
