CBFryman, I have nothing against k&n, they've given me good service, and at times, alittle more pep. But there are some on this forum that hate k&n with a pasion, if Bob Ayres see's this post, you will have your hands full defending k&n. I have went through it a couple of times myself, it turns into a war. Just thought I would give you a heads up, so get ready to rumble !! hee hee
I think lately Bob is laying low, after what went on between he and Jimdandy. As for K&N, I'm not a fan myself, but that aside a built engine will benefit from higher flow, just not likely a stock engine...

Thanks for the heads up though.

I'm not a pro K&N freak, I have no problem with AEM. In fact I was thinking about using one of their oiless filters when I was contemplating building a custom intake from aluminum with my dad's MIG. I just think K&N makes excelent filters and even though they can cause a few minor MAF problems they are easily remided (sp).
