I found a decent size hole due to rust in my floor board the otherday. I am not sure what the rest looks like. The hole I found was under the drivers feet area. Since I found that it is likely I will find more. I saw replacements parts on NPD and they look like pretty thin and flimsy. Has anyone used there replacement floor boards and if so how were they? Who has the best replacement floor board, even if it is a one piece replacement for the entire thing? Thanks guys.
Not sure, but another place to look is LMC Truck, maybe JC Whitney. If it's not too bad you can pop-rivet a sheet of aluminum or steel over/under it and spray both sides with undercoating or trailer roof coating to seal it.
That is a good idea....I didn't mention LMC because it looks as though everyone puts them in the poor quality/fit department. I need to take the seats out and pull the matting up and look at the whole thing...I hope it is just that one area, but I have a feeling that isn't the case.
Hopefully what I have isnt that bad and I can just weld in the replacement area under the driver's feet. If it is that bad, I guess I will come up with something.
