Recently upgraded from a 1972 f250 428 c-6 250k miles. Boy, do I like this new truck!
1992 f250 460 e4od 66k miles and better mileage.
I notice that when my trans warms up I get a hunting shift with od on. This happens at about 35 mph, and at 55-60 mph on hilly roads. Fluid is red and full. I took a 1000 mi trip and never noticed this about 2 months ago. There is a very positive shift from 1 to 2, and the rest are very smooth.
I'd like to bypass the transcommand, but don't have the book for it. Could this be a part of thr problem?
What do I look for?
What else can I check?
Thanks
Little
