Nasty vibration
Hello all, I have a 2003 F150,54,000 miles the current issue is a nasty overall vibration that
has just started happening. It occurs at highway speeds, I can be cruising along fine and then it starts to vibrate like crazy, it's the whole truck that's shaking. I'll pull over and stop check things out and start to go again and it's gone. It first started when I was towing my pop-up (2500Lbs) no big load here so at first I thought it was the trailer, now it's done it without towing anything. It's going to the Ford dealer on Monday but I was wondering if anyone can give me a heads up as to whats going on? I bought an extended warrenty so I hope it should be covered.

Is this happening sporadically or is it all the time? I know you said it's gone after you pull over to check things- will it come back pretty soon after you start driving again or is it the next day or so?
Do you have a CEL?
Engine missing perhaps.
What happens to the vibration when you step on the brakes? How about when you give it gas?
