Do Jimmi Jammers really work?
A custom formed steel plate that bolts to the backside of your door handle, preventing thieves from prying into the handle seam to get at the lock rods.

The newer models for the F-250 also come with a hose clamp that you can tighten onto your lock cylinder. Seems like a very effective way to keep thieves from punching the lock cylinder through- like they basties did to my F-150 two years ago...
SOOO.... Do they really work???
Of course, the windows can still be broken, but I still think that these would be pretty effective at keeping people from bustin in through the doors, and maybe they don't want to mess with busting out windows, and would move on to the next vehicle if they can't jimmi the doors open..
The purpose of this post is to find out who has Jimmi Jammers, and what input you have!
Looking for NEGATIVE input- such as "mine didn't work", etc.
BUT, if you have them, and they DID keep the thieves out, please share your story too..
I'll start.. I have them on all four doors of my truck and they've never been tested...
Plus, your above avg theif won't even bother going that route. They'll just bust out the window, use a window jimmy, or a long metal rod. I've opened quite a few friend's cars, even a cop car using the long metal rod. (all with them around of course) The only car I've found it won't work on is my Toyota Highlander, as the lock switch is disengaged when the car is locked. And if you manually unlock it, the alarm goes off.
