I am starting to think that a Marine, 2 owners ago, put the 302 in her in the mid 80's slapped the V8 emblem on. I talked to the pervious owner, another Marine, via e-mail last night. He's on a boat out in the middle of the Atlantic heading towards you know where. But the truck had a 292 and a 3 speed until the 292 died. Then a 302 was put in, that started to go, finally the 351W/FMX combo was installed. It's kind of nice to start to get a picture of how the truck has changed owners and what has been done to it each time.
