My truck had a Hypertech chip in it. I removed it. The truck runs much better. The transmission shifts much better now. The bad part is I think the damage to the transmission is already done.
I still have a burning clutch smell that is driving me crazy. I can't find where is is coming from. I am certain that it is not comming from the brakes. It just emits from under the hood somewhere. It does not seem to be coming from the turbo. I cannot smell it on the xmsn dip stick.
for that sensor all you need to do is pull the pipe that runs from manifold to sensor very easy to do and clean it out. and maybe scrape the inside of the sensor a little.
Where is this at? I cannot find it in a manual and I do not know what I am looking for.
its on the passenger side manifold all the way up front. its a line that runs up to the front of the motor just in front of the gpr and behind the hpop reservoir. disconnect both ends and clean let me try to find a picture of the tube.
