Strange Roaring Noise ???
My 02 4x4 auto tranny has had a maint. and I am the orig. owner
For the last two days I have noticed a slight roaring noise coming from the ft end area, mostly when I let the truck coast down from 45mph. It almost sounds like a dipped out tire but I have all new Mich Tires. It's not loud, but I can hear it. I know this is not much info, but its all I have to go on.

how much is left on your brake pads? when we had a pad let go on our dually,( LR), it made a hell of a noise even coasting and it got worse with brake pressure. a week of driving made the rotor look like this:

hopefully it's not a pad, because it's going to destroy the rotor if it was like my case. if your rotor looks and feels smooth chances are it's not that. but just rule that out.
