I can get you one and mail it to you as long as it doesn't cost me anything.
Why not check our site sponsors. This is one HERE that has it for $319.00. Shipping is free for US. I don't know what it would be for shipping, but the unit is new and the seller is a site sponsor. Just a thought.
Whats the safe way to do this? so i don't loose $300.00?
You'd buy it off of E-Bay and have it shipped to me and I would forward it to you. But it already sounds like you ain't gonna trust anyone anyway. So just get it from a site sponser and they will ship it to you.
Well I don't want to steer you away, but have you considered a custom burned chip? I plan on selling my Diablo Predator and going with a chip. From what I have heard they are above and beyond any tuner out there. Tuner's are nice for troubleshooting code's I guess. Just trying to make sure all options are covered before anyone lays down some coin.

check out this thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...d-i-order.html it's current, and it's still developing. if you need anything else just search, whatever you need to know has been covered several times over.
man I had one of those 1705 superchip tuners for my truck, I sold it on e-bay a few weeks ago. I'm getting a DP tuner in the very near future, I hear only great things about it. Just a though you might want to look into --> around the same price, w/ multiple tunes and adjustable on the fly.
b/c I wanted a DP tuner. It is a multi position chip that can hold up to 16 different tunes. They are adjustable on the fly and have more specific tunes for your needs. Tunes like 80hp economy setting, 40hp tow, 120 hp race, stock tunes. All you have to do is turn the switch to change tunes, no more wasted time spent tuning the vehicle.
Not to mention my buddy has one, and I need one to keep up with him. That 120hp race tune will roll the smoke.
In my opinion, it is a much better investment than the superchip tuner.
why did you sell it? just wondering? I'm new to the tuners and chips!
The very first thing I bought for my truck after I bought it was a 1705 tuner. I can't say there was anything really bad about it, the truck ran much better and had more power with it's tunes. I think the problem you'll find with it is that changing the power levels is a pain for one, and you'll see that most people who started with one ended up selling it eventually to get into something better like a DP-Tuner flip chip. I've gone from the 1705, to the Edge J/A, to DP-Tuner and I wish I would of saved myself some money and time and just asked questions like you have here.
Do yourself a favor and get some gauges if you're going to be towing with this truck before you mess with the power level. In town it's hard to really push these trucks unloaded to create dangerous EGT level so you *could* run the 1705 without gauges (I did). Then I would recommend saving yourself the time and money and call Jody Tipton at DP-Tuner when you're ready to buy a chip. Just my .02
