Updateing with solution......A Carquest CPS was causing all the trouble. Put in an OEM I got off EBay and everthing returned to normal. The Carquest CPS was not bad it was just "off" enuff to throw the timing way off and cause the CCT imbalance and generally run like crap.
Long story but basically my truck was running great and on a friday morning the "CPS Stutter of DEath" started on the way to work and since I was leaving that afternoon for a trip I had to get a local shop to fix it. Well after they "fixed" it it ran like a dog and I was determined not to have to take it back to them (another Long Story). After about a month of trouble shooting and running every test I could throw at it i was down to a faulty PCM and then the lightbulb went off (finally) and i looked at the reciept for the service and it listed a CPS with a Carquest Part number so I put that together with the fact that it all started after they "fixed" it I put my spare in and imeadiately the truck ran smoother and passed 12 consecutive CCT's with a max change of 0.2% on any cylinder, and its been fine since. But dont tell the wife, She thinks I am still saving money by "Fixing" it myself
