Well the # i posted was the one that came out of the truck. And that part # i posted is autopartsplace.com part number for it, i dont think that is a ford number

I have a 1991 F250. It needs a new EEC computer unit

That is a 92 Ford parts number and would not be the one that came with the truck.
That said you need to find out what the Program code is for the EEC you need. Most of the times they put a sticker on the door jam or someplace with the code on it, it would be a code like HUG2. Do not worry too much about the part number, just make sure that the EEC you get has this same program code on it.
With the part number not matching your truck may be why the truck is not running right.
Also note that the EEC/PMC remanufacture say that 80% of the computers sent in for repair do not have any problems and no repair is needed.
