OK......1995 F-150 regularcab shortbed 4x4 4.9L 5spd.....where did they hide the eec at?...i need to find it to get the number off of it. Any help is awsome!
Follow the wiring harness over to the drivers side of the engine bay, on the firewall a little lower than the master cylinder. That's where it is on my '95 5.8. You can't see the computer itself, but you can see the 60-pin connector going into it...it's in a compartment in the firewall there.
awww....i think with a programer like tweecer the 4.9 can be opened up some more.....and i could take it to high atlitudes without it actin like a dead dog
