Noises...
Just yesterday I noticed a new noise under my truck ('88 BII, 2.9 v6 5-speed man.). I can't seem to penpoint it yet.... It is kind of a scraping/mild grinding noise. The noise seems to be coming up through the shifter hole in the floor but past that I cannot tell. It only happens when under load (Accelerating or uphill). It's not real loud, but real disturbing to me. It is also hard to tell if it is keeping cadence with the RPM as the engine noise soon drowns it out. I will check clutch fluid tomorrow but am not too confidant as nothing in my truck ever seems to be an "easy" fix. If I disengage the clutch, the noise stops. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear... Also I would love to give a heart felt thanks to everyone who has helped me thus far. This site ROCKS!
