Hi I am thinking about buy an older Ford Truck, it's a 65' 3/4 ton the price is right but the body needs work. Is there any where to get aftermarket body parts for a truck like this? The whole reason i am looking at getting it the fact that I love the way the older fords look. Also is there a good place to get emblems from? Thanks.
I would say definitely go buy it. There are parts in many different catalogues for almost everything. Mac's auto parts and Dennis Carpenter just to name a few have a large amount of parts including emblems and body parts. Hope that helps! I would say buy it because they are fun trucks to mess with!
To me, the juckyard searching part is the most fun! I have had some luck buying small rare bits and parts off of ebay. You never know where you can find something. Check out some trucking or transport companies; the type that seem to have every truck they ever ran abandoned out back. Lots of parts potential there!
check out www.lmctruck.com and order a free catalog they've got an excellent variety of emblems but very few body parts or go to the nearest boneyard (wrecking yard) emblems are repro.

I agree with you, esp those tear drop fenders.
I own the 1966 ford f-250 my self, in my case it was remaining from my father's estate. In my case the price was squat, so investment in anything goes direct into the value of the truck.
I'm rather partical to the 1966 grill my self, which fortunatly is avalable on here, as well some other sources, as well as many fiberglass solutions as well.
U.S. Body source in Florida makes a lot of fiberglass stuff for our trucks, but I don't know of any other sources for "new" sheetmetal. DC makes tailgates that will fit, but it's for the 67-72's.
