When I replaced the engine in my 89 F159, the only hose I forgot to hook-up went to my cruise control. it's a large vacuum line that goes to a tee, then on to the vacuum tree on the intake. you might want to have a looksee if it didn't break. I'm attaching a pic of the cruise control module thing in my truck.
There ate three vacuum lines on this thing. One crosses from the top to the back of the unit. One gors to the tee on the intake. The other goes through the firewall into the cab somewhere.
