upgrade to power windows - wiring problems ??
I recently bought a pair of doors that have power windows/locks and bolted them inplace on my 89 Custom (non power anything). I can make the drivers window go up and down (using the drivers side switch) and make the passenger window go up and down (using the passenger switch), but I cannot make the passenger window move with the passenger switch on the drivers panel. Nor can I make the locks function right.
has anybody ever wired these in ? My 89 has no provision for wireharness for these, that I know of.........

I did this on my 96, I got all the electronics from the door on the donor vehicle, and I got the wiring from behind the dash on the donor vehicle.
Found the correct plugs and plugged them in. I also got the fuses from the other truck and it works like new.
