This will be a selling point soon and the dealers will be selling more flex-fuel trucks than ever. Truck will be turning 79k soon and been running Bio since new. Filters look like new when changed and don't know why I even change them any more. Exhaust smells like Cherrios and havn't had a problem yet with running it. Fords stance on B5 is just a safety net for warranty repairs . Jeep factory fills their trucks with Bio and believe John Deere does too. I think the truck does run better on it and doesn't have the driveabilty problems that some have had with bad fuel.

firesoutmatt - what percent Bio-D do you run? If more than 20%, what do you do in the winter to keep it from gelling?

Problem with BioDiesel is that there isn't enough to Gain!

Only two groups benefit...Vehicle Owners and Environment(kinda the same).

How do you expect people to become corrupt Billionares like that...Then you are putting EPA People out of jobs...Cost vehicle manufacturers to spend more time and money on research on something that already works(DinoDiesel)...

This is just not American! What kind of Place is this?

Before anyone electronically jail-rapes me...I'm just being a supreme smartazz in edition to not contributing anything constructive...(grin)

I run 100 in the summer and 20 most of the winter. The supplier I use won't sell over B20 from like nov thru march so I'm kinda limited in the winter. I have a 300 gal tank inside my shop that they come in fill and its mixed before I get it. Havn't had a problem with gelling and don't add any fuel conditioner. Bio seems to be a good conditioner in itself. I do see a differance when I'm out of town and have to use reg diesel. Truck seems to like the bio better maybe because it was weened on bio.

No and I havn't heard of any doing that. I would be surprised to see any case of this happening and that it would be tied to the bio. My grandpappy used to say Don't believe anything you hear and half of what you read.

LMAO--kinda brings to mind another similar recent thread. I ran it in mine for a short time and I really liked it, but it was really hard to get conveniently. I haven't found any here, but I'd love to support our american farmers since my dad supported our family in that industry his whole life.
