A common problem?
When I removed the shocks from the rear of my '64 the shock mounts on the axle fell off! I noticed they were bent but paid no attention to them before working on the truck.
Is this a rare case or has anyone else experienced this?

I had the same thing happen on my '64! Only one fell off on mine though. I just welded it back on, and I've had no problem since - that was more than 10 years ago.

Must be a 64 problem. Welded mine. No problems since!
