I can't use a dual intake as shown on the ram air pics that were posted. My A/C lines and oil dipstick block the path. I got to looking on the website and I might just fabricate a larger 5-6" intake on the drivers side. I also plan on fabricating a larger intake piece or purchasing one of the 4" ones they have. I am also wondering about the system that runs to the sides of the engine compartment on both sides...has anyone tried that? I don't know if it would work running to the fenders but anything is worth a try.
You just have to think outside the box, I think so far outside the box my standard reply is "What box?"
You are also going to have to give me some time, I am so covered up with work right now I barely have time to come in here and check on things every day.
I have to go finish fabbing up a tree and stump burner tomorrow, have 14 acres of trees and brush to burn starting the middle of the week. When I burn something, you better stand back, I supercharge and oil inject my brush piles. You can build a nice fire if you add 4000 CFM of air and 10 gallons of used motor oil every hour at 100 PSI. I am a big fan of lots of air, lots of fuel and fire, they make a very good combination. Works in diesel engines, works in brush piles. That job is 80 miles from the house one way and I have been given three weeks to burn everything, I am shooting for a week.
Then I will probably be starting a 46 foot tall retaining wall down in southern WV and probably will be out of town 4 days and three nights a week minimum. Hope I have internet access at the motel.
