Thumbs up Autoenginuity ?

I just bought the Autoenginuity new from ebay.(havent reseved it yet)
My question for those of you that have it,is it hard to us?I know i need the extened sensor cd,I get that next.
Any tips on using it?
And how do you like the program?

Love it .. very easy to use.. just make sure you read the manual first. All you need for the enhanced interface is an activation key and you can get that from Jay at www.autoengineuity.com directly. Without the enhanced package there was not much I could do except read the generic ODB codes.

Also when you use it turn off "auto connect" in the communications options and remember that sensors are year and model specific ( you'll see what I'm talking about) and use "Powerstroke" for comm type

I got mine straight from Jay the whole package was 379 just the interface is ~150

So its just a code that i would have to enter for the enhanced interface.So if i bought it online from there site,they dont send you a CD?

only the updates. if you bought 4.2 the enhanced features for 4.2 are there just need to be unlocked. when 5 comes out we would have to get the upgrade cd/download to get new features that manufactures added to new vehicles. So as is stands now if you will never need to work on a vehicle built after the autoenginuity build date (i believe 4.2 is 5/06) you wont need the update but if you get a 6.4 in 08 you will need the update.

I did buy the 4.2.
