upgrade TT mirrors

Has anyone upgraded from power heated trailer tow mirrors to power heated trailer tow mirrors with marker lights. Is the wiring there?

It's actually a matter of changing the back cover on the mirrors, running some wires, and that's it. There is a diagram for it, but I don't quite remember where to find it.

HEY TOREADOR, i have been meaning to ask the same. i have the putco chrome covers on my tt mittors now. they are the power/heated ones. are all the tt mirrors the same fronts, just different covers? so, an 01 tt mirror will accept a lighted back cover from an 06? i want to get the factory ford chrome covers from ford. the covers from ford come with the lights right? thanks to whomever replies.

It should bolt right up to your '01 mirrors. Every dealer I've gone to in the last little while, has told me the only difference between the old and the new are the covers and maybe two little wires. So you should be all set.
