Jet Chip on 4.2L

Have any of you installed a Jet Chip Tuner on your 4.2L? Thinking about one for my 2002 F150 4.2L 5spd RegCab 4x2 83K.

Welcome to FTE!

I don't recall seeing anyone mention a Jet chip. Maybe somebody has one but just hasn't mentioned it yet.

There is a forum here at FTE for chips, tuners, etc.
You might want to try asking there also.

Again, glad to have you here. Stick around and post often.
It can be slow in the summer time.

I don't mean to butt in, as I have a moded 4.0 ranger, but my experience with jet is that there sorta generic, one tune fits all. There not terrible, but I use a bama chips programer, and it is totally awesome compared to jet. Doug tunes the programer specifically to your truck and mods. He mostly does rangers, but is a ford computer guru, and is doing other fords as well. You may want to drop him an e-mail, it will be well worth your time. WWW.BAMA CHIPS.COM

FYI everyone. I went ahead and bought a jetchip for my 4.2L. Seems to work great. I probably only have about 100 miles on the truck since the install. The truck really feels like it has better top end power, 65+. I installed it in my 2002 F150 RegCab 4.2L 5spd 85K.
