Factory Nerf Bar Brackets

I've searched all the forums, but can't find the anwer, so I'll ask it here:

I have a 2001 F-250 CrewCab. When I bought it there were no nerf bars installed....A firend who had the exact same truck gave me the his old ones, but several of the brackets are broken. Any Ideas where I can get the brackets for the factory FORD nerf bars?

Dealer will tell you that they have to be purchased as an assy. w/the step. You can also try a collision parts distributor.

Really? When I called my parts guy at the local dealership, he also told me that I had to order the whole assembly. Maybe you could give me the name of your dealership, so I could call.

Here is my pic, sorry poor lighting. Metal bracket next to instructions, plastic cover on the right. Click to zoom. The white bag inside that box contains all bolts and clips needed. Let me know.

I forgot to let you know last week, but the brackets work PERFECTLY on my 2001.....The nerf bars look great.
