73-79 door hinge pin fix?
Hey all,
I have a 1976 that needs new hinge pins. I have found a donor set of hinges with good pins I could use but does anyone know where I could go for new ones? Or what other makes and years (ford products) that might work for the truck.

I have checked a couple of the sponsors and the only go back as far as 1980. I will try a few more??
I will look at H.E.L.P tonight. Forgot to check there thanks. If you look at the 1980 ste they look exactly the same in the picture. i do not know if they are the same in size and length however.

I replaced my door hinge pins way back before they had "kits".
For one hinge... used two flanged-head 3/8" bolts cut and filed to length and a coupling nut and two flanged bronze-oil-lite bushings.
Also after removing the original hinge-hold-down-bolts I cut off the tips of them with a hacksaw to get rid of the "captive" part of their threads.
