i have the 4" turbo back Silverline with the cat delete pipe. It was a breeze to install, everything went together great and is great quality. It took more time getting the factory exhaust off then it did to put the Silverline on. I fought with the factory turbo down pipe for about 30 minutes, what a pain! The Silverline down pipe is 4" also but went right on. Sounds great, the turbo really SINGS! Rumor has it that '03 and '04's are notorious for loud turbos. I love it!
Thanks for the info ahunt. I was originally looking for a cat back system cause I'm sure my dealer will give me grief if ANY problem arises that they can blame on it, like a bad wheel bearing. You know how those things are so closely related... Anyway maybe I'll just install it as cat back for now and do the downpipe later as I'll probably be doing the job alone. Time to add one more task to my to do list
Your probably thinking of muffler bearings HA HA! My service dealer told me that if I did exhaust or air intake kit and the rear goes out obviously it wasn't the cause but if I have a engine failure they will look at it closely to find the cause. Just their way of saying yeah you spent over $40K but we aren't going to pay for anything we don't have to! Good Luck
silverstroker thanks for the info. PA 6.0 Yes my dealer made it clear too. Anything they can blame on something else they will and they won't make note of things that need fixing unless you point out what’s wrong. At least they were honest enough to admit it. Hmm I bet as soon as it’s out of warranty they will notice everything it needs.
Yeah the dealer is really good at fixing every possible cause when its not comming out of their pocket. I like to take care of my truck but a friend of mine always says just beat on it and if it breaks "its under warranty". I see his point but I also don't want anything to break because it always seem to happen up after its out of warranty.
