Super Duty Wheels
I just picked up my new 2007 F250 SD last week. I got the XLT with the Chrome steel wheels. Well I was disappointed that the wheels are actually plain steel with a chromed plastic overlay. What a disappointment for a $33000.00 truck. No wonder sales are down.

Somehow, I don't believe that Ford's sales are down because of chrome plastic steel wheel covers. Perhaps you should have been better informed. This is not Ford's fault. Blame your dealer.

Call your local tire shops, discount tire, les schwab. They take new sets in on trade in when someone like you decides they want to spend thousands no new tires and wheels. They then resell the factory stuff at a pretty good price. You can usually get a set of aluminum wheels with near new tires for pennies compaired to buying new aftermarket stuff.
