Check the electrical wires. My battery cables were pretty shot when I got my Ford.
It might be worth your time to pull the starter. It was fairly easy on my 360 V8 and it probably isn't much harder on yours. Take it apart, take a look.
I throw this question out to wiser men...could the ignition switch be the culprit?

I actually removed the battery and brought it to advanced auto parts to be tested. They said it was good and had a full charge. I then charged it a little just in case and the same clicking happened.
Tomorrow, I'm going to check all of the wires and grounds to make sure they're not dirty/corroded
Don't assume the starter solenoid is good. You might want to try bypassing the solenoid to see if it is the problem. Always the first place I check after I know the battery is charged, I have had several go bad without warning, some fairly new. I don't think the aftermarket ones we get now hold up like the OEM pieces.
Take a battery cable and attach it to the lug on the solenoid that goes to the starter.
Place a dry rag over the battery...now Take the other end of the booster cable and touch the + post of the battery.
Does the starter start to crank ?
Now with a smaller gauge wire do the same to the S terminal of the solenoid.
Well yesterday I pulled my starter and battery and took them to advance auto parts to get checked. It turned out they were both fine so I went home and put them in.
After I put them in I decided to try to start it. To my amazement it actually tried to start up. It was trying to turn over but the gas wasn't igniting.
I check my fuses and checked for a spark. Both were good so now I'm stuck on trying to figure out what the heck I need to do.
