replacement shift ****-

Anyone make/sell a shift **** for the 6sp? Or all I really need is the top cover with the diagram.

I took my cover off when drilling and tapping the shift lever for a retaining bolt. I'll see if I can find it.

Mine came off when the truck would get very hot on inside, like the adhesive they used would lose it's adhesiveness in heat. After awhile the inside coupling or sleeve rotted. I replaced with a custom know from www.flameball.com Pricey but I love it, big **** like a truck **** should be and easily went on and has stayed on.

OK. It's in the mail. I would recommend a dab of silicone or something to keep it from spinning and rattling. That's why I took it out in the first place. Here's what mine looks like now that I put a brass butten head cap screw on it to hold it in place. I've started designing the total billet ****, but I haven't made a prototype yet. I told Kwik I would give the proto to him to test. I'm thinking a combo of brass and alum.
