American Overdrive Unit

Can anyone help me find out what transmissions a 205 new process overdive unit fits. I bought this thing 10 years ago for a 1979 ford 3/4 ton auto and want to sell it now but the guy that wants it doesn't know if it will fit a 1999. Is there a website or a place I can go to find out what it will fit?

Pictures of OverDrive

I did have another question. Is it possible to make this work on my RV? I have a 454 chevy and auto trans. Could this be adapted to work on it? Ok I am really new at this and can not figure out how to put the photos on a url that it keeps asking for.

the np 205 is a transfer case, which came in the 79 ford 4x4 trucks, the unit you have probably has that name (np 205) on it for that application not for the name of the unit. if this does fit a 79 ford model 205 i dont think it will fit a 99 seeing as they have rear slip yokes(as far as i know) instead of bolt on yokes like the 79 did. that is the limit of my knowledge on it, i am surprised nobody else has gotten in on this conversation, maybe if you move it to the 73-79 forum it will draw more attention, there are alot of readers over there..........
