Right now I have the 4in afe exhuast system with single out. My question is, what difference would removing the muffler make? Im guessing it will make it louder, which i am looking for, but performance wise, would there be a difference. Another question for anyone in washinton state. Have you removed the muffler and did you have any problems with emmisions?

Reason: I cant spell and have no grammer
you will get alot more turbine whistle and more fluttering of the exhaust pulses. to try it out, disconnect the exhaust from the front of the muffler back. start it up and rev it a few times, maybe drive around the block once or twice. you will be hooked.
i have a muffler delete pipe in aluminized 4" that i have sitting on the shelf because i dont have piping back that far anymore. if it's the same size as a MBRP muffler (believe it's 30") then you can take it off my hands.
yea turbo diesel engines require very very little to no back pressure so removing the muffler is just going to make it breath a little better and the sound will be sooooo much better
it is most efficient when you have 0 backpressure on the outlet side of the turbo. you need backpressure between the engine and the turbo, or else you wouldn't be getting much boost.
Word of caution here, It may/will have a adverse affect on you fuel economy. You will find yourself making harder acceleration, especially in town and around any close structures on right side of the road . You might even get caught shifting to neutral at a light and revving engine if a rice rocket winds up at the right place. You will also find yourself riding around in 100 degree temps with air cond. wide open and windows down. So yes, in that aspect it does affect performance. As far as emissions, exhaust emissions will be the same with or without a muffler. Now noise emissions, that's another story.
the two pipe deal is so much better sounding instead of the single-exit version. i dont want to fill up again because my mileage will suck (even more ) with the vertical duals...
